Grilled cheese made the conventional way can get pretty soggy by lunchtime. Try making it this way instead.
Lunch box grilled cheese
- Toast two sliced of bread in the toaster.
- Let them cool and crisp by leaving them standing upright in the toaster slots for 2 or 3 minutes.
- Place 1 or 2 slices of cheese between the 2 slices of bread.
- Place sandwich on a paper towel and microwave for 10 to 20 seconds, just until the cheese melts.
- Cut in half, cool slightly, then wrap in aluminum foil.
